Melissa Misoda: I am inspired by simplicity, and simplicity is best described to me
through forms such as the circle. Simple lines, clean edges, and basic
forms have an elegance that is heightened to me by repeating these
forms to create a more complex structure, the sum of the whole being
greater than the individual parts. The process of repetition also allows
me to create motion in an otherwise motionless object. My desire to
create work has been inspired most by my medium, hot glass.
