Shane trabaja con formas figurativas, la realización consisten en la manipulación de varillas de vidrio sobre un soplete con llama, va añadiendo la pasta de vidrio en etapas sucesivas hasta que toma la forma deseada. Es en la inventiva de estos trabajos que pone de manifiesto el interés por la antropología, la filosofía, la mitología y la psicología.
